Vowc - Multilingual Text-to-Speech Browser
Vowc is a unique Android browser that reads aloud the web pages you visit in eight different languages. It automatically distinguishes between languages and allows you to set different text-to-speech engines for each language. The browser also supports RSS feeds, and a dedicated RSS view is displayed for each feed. You can read multiple sites at once, and the browser supports background reading.
Vowc also has a selective reading feature that allows you to skip only words and read specific sentences. The playback speed can be adjusted from 0.5 to 3.0 times, and you can customize how ruby is read aloud. The browser also supports the conversion dictionary function, and reading patterns can be set for each language. Additionally, you can operate the browser while reading from the notification bar or lock screen, and some playback operations are possible from headsets and earphones.
However, some devices may have trouble with the reading voice being cut off in the middle. If this happens, try changing the text-to-speech engine or checking that the voice data for the target language is installed. Overall, Vowc is a useful browser for studying, commuting, and collecting information on the go.
